During this 1-day training we will explore the subtle body as it relates to yoga.
The focus of our time together will be discovering the Major Chakra System and Prana Vayu’s in detail. Through embodied experience, practice and discussion you will be able to integrate these learnings into your classes and personal practice.

- A detailed look at the 7 Major Chakras (root > crown)
- Exploration of the Prana Vayus (movement / function of prana)
- Accessing and exploring Bandhas (energetic locks)
- The marrying of functional anatomy & movement with the energetics of the yoga practice

Is this course accredited?
Yes. This course is accredited through Yoga Alliance. You may also be eligible for CPD through your industry body, however you would need to check the requirements. You will be issued with a certificate upon completion of this course.
Is there a payment plan option for this training?

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations – before 01 October 2019 full refund minus $50 admin fee, after 15 Oct 2019 lose 50%, after 20 Oct 2019 lose 100%.
Meet your Trainers
Kate Payne, Co Founder Higher States & Lead Trainer
Yoga Teacher, Trainer & Therapist
Kate is a qualified Yoga & Pilates Teacher, Trainer and Yoga Therapist. She is a Senior Teacher at Lighten Up Yoga in Townsville and Senior Facilitator for the Lighten Up 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training. Specialising in women’s health (including pregnancy and postnatal), trauma sensitive yoga, and yin and myofascial release, Kate works 1:1 with clients often in collaboration with other modalities, using yoga, meditation, reiki, sound and massage. Kate is currently completing her Diploma in Remedial Massage (Oct 2019).
Dr Stewart Payne, Co Founder Higher States & Lead Trainer
Osteopath & Music Producer / DJ
Stewart is a Osteopath B.Sc (Clin Sc) M.H.Sc. (Osteo) with a background in exercise science and human movement. Stewart has a direct structural and functional approach to treatment with experience treating a wide range of conditions with particular interest in neck and shoulder pain, headaches/migraine and lower back conditions. He also holds qualifications in diagnostic ultrasound and dry needling.
Mia Dickson, Assistant Teacher
Yoga Teacher & Videographer
Mia is a qualified Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release Teacher and women’s health advocate. She is a busy mum of 4, but has found her true life’s passion within the world of yoga. Mia believes in the practice of yoga to used as a medicine to heal and discover our inner and outer true self. With a strong passion for yoga in addition to videography and social media, Mia is the Higher States of Yoga Assistant Teacher & Marketing Maven.
